Platelet-Rich Plasma
Q) What is Platelet-Rich Plasma?
A) Platelet-Rich Plasma is a treatment that involves the collection of a small blood sample from you. This sample is placed in a machine called a centrifuge, which spins at high speeds to allow the plasma portion of the sample to be isolated. This plasma portion is rich in growth factors which stimulates collagen and elastin synthesis. This is then injected into your skin to stimulate new collagen production.
